About MinaLixr
MinaLixr creates portable, adaptive, neuroaffirming sensory solutions that enable in-the-moment regulation in classrooms, clinics, libraries, and public spaces. We design with educators, clinicians, and families so support fits real routines - reducing transitions, preserving staff capacity, and supporting participation.
How We Work
Co-design: We build with practitioners, caregivers, and neurodivergent people
Pilots: Small, rapid pilots for usability, feasibility, and fit
Iterate: We refine based on data and lived experience
Adaptive Sensory Environment (ASE): We build a portable, in-room Adaptive Sensory Environment (ASE) for in-the-moment regulation that grows with the individual and preserves staff time.
Founder
Founded by Nico, MinaLixr blends human-centered design with practical, evidence-informed methods. We aim for portable supports that work inside real environments - simple to set up, durable, and easy to maintain.
Values
Neuroaffirming: Respect differences; avoid deficit framing
Inclusive by design: Useful in schools, clinics, and public spaces
Practical first: Simple setup, clear use, measurable impact
Impact Focus
Time-to-regulation (quicker returns to learning/participation)
Staff time preserved (fewer out-of-class transitions)
Participation indicators (attendance, task initiation, tolerance in shared spaces)
Category: Adaptive Sensory Environment (ASE).
